Porter x Pas Normal: Elevated Adventure Bags

by VeloMagster

Pas Normal Studios, the Copenhagen-based cycling apparel brand, has expanded its collaboration with Japanese luggage manufacturer Porter-Yoshida & Co. to introduce two new on-bike luggage pieces: a handlebar bag and a frame bag. These additions complement the existing range, which includes a saddle bag, backpack, and tote bag.

Handlebar Bag

The handlebar bag is designed to provide cyclists with easy access to essentials during rides. Crafted from durable nylon, it features a main compartment and two front pockets, all secured with robust Vislon® YKK zippers. Adjustable Velcro straps ensure a secure fit on the handlebars without causing scratches. The bag’s dimensions are H14cm x W21cm x D7cm, offering ample space for items like snacks, tools, or a light jacket. (endclothing.com)

Frame Bag

The frame bag attaches seamlessly to the bicycle frame, providing additional storage without disrupting the bike’s balance. Made from abrasion-resistant nylon with water-repellent properties, it features a structured rectangular design for easy one-handed access while riding. The open storage compartment includes an internal divider to separate tools from snacks, preventing unnecessary fumbling. Adjustable rubber straps secure the bag to the frame without scratching, and the robust Vislon® YKK zipper ensures durability. The bag measures 36cm x 10cm x 3cm, offering a capacity of 0.75 liters. Material and Craftsmanship

Both bags are constructed using a combination of ripstop and Oxford-woven nylon, providing structure and durability. The use of YKK zippers further enhances the bags’ longevity. All products are made in Japan, reflecting Porter’s commitment to quality craftsmanship. (tour-magazin.de)

Availability

The new handlebar and frame bags will be available starting October 2, 2026. They can be purchased through Pas Normal Studios’ online store, select flagship stores, Porter stores, and various retail partners. Pricing details have not been disclosed at this time. (tour-magazin.de)
