Retro Rides: The Clandestine Cradle Pedals

by VeloMagster

British framebuilder Pi Manson has unveiled the Clandestine Cradle Pedals, a limited-edition platform pedal developed in collaboration with Japan’s MKS. This partnership aims to provide cyclists with a pedal that combines vintage aesthetics with modern performance.

The Cradle Pedals draw inspiration from classic mountain bike designs, featuring polished surfaces that offer a confident grip on rugged terrains without compromising shoe integrity. Each pedal measures 100mm by 90mm, providing ample foot support. The design includes twin plates at both ends, reminiscent of Manson’s signature fork crowns, and a concave shape that cradles the foot for enhanced comfort and control.

Priced at £110 (approximately $145), the Cradle Pedals are available for purchase at Clandestine.cc.

This collaboration between Pi Manson and MKS reflects a shared commitment to quality and innovation, offering cyclists a product that marries retro design with contemporary functionality.
