Women’s XCO: Rissveds Clinches Third Victory
Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds showcased her dominance by seizing her third XCO victory of the season. From the outset, Rissveds commanded the race, maintaining a lead that never exceeded 40 seconds over the duo of Switzerland’s Sina Frei and Italy’s Martina Berta. In the final lap, Berta overtook Frei, securing second place, while Frei settled for third. American rider Savilia Blunk continued her consistent form, finishing fourth, ahead of Austria’s Laura Stigger. Notably, French rider Olivia Onesti led the French contingent, finishing 33rd. Men’s XCO: Boichis Triumphs in French Duel
In the men’s race, French riders Adrien Boichis and Mathis Azzaro delivered a captivating duel reminiscent of their previous encounter in La Thuile. Boichis secured his second XCO victory of the season, overtaking Azzaro in the final stages. German competitor Luca Schwarzbauer earned a commendable third place, while American Chris Blevins, returning from a collarbone injury, finished fourth.
