Yeti Unveils Innovative Enduro Bike Without Switch Infinity

by VeloMagster

Yeti Cycles, renowned for its innovative mountain bike designs, is set to unveil a groundbreaking enduro bike that departs from its traditional Switch Infinity suspension system. This new model introduces a 6-bar linkage suspension, a design previously exclusive to Yeti’s electric mountain bikes (eMTBs).

The 6-bar linkage, also known as the Sixfinity system, offers enhanced adjustability for suspension parameters, allowing engineers to fine-tune the bike’s performance more precisely. This advancement aims to provide riders with a more customizable and responsive riding experience.

While Yeti has not officially confirmed the details, the prototype spotted at the Val di Fassa EDR event suggests that this bike is poised to succeed the current SB160 model. The design maintains Yeti’s signature aesthetic, with notable modifications around the bottom bracket and shock area to accommodate the new suspension system.

The integration of the Sixfinity suspension into a non-electric enduro bike marks a significant evolution in Yeti’s design philosophy, potentially setting new standards in the industry for suspension technology and ride quality.

As the bike is still in the prototype phase, further details regarding its specifications and release date are anticipated in the coming months.
