The Caletti Framebuilder Summit, scheduled for June 26–29, 2026, in Santa Cruz, California, is a pivotal event for both seasoned and emerging bicycle framebuilders. This summit aims to foster knowledge exchange, with veteran builders like John Caletti imparting practical skills and business insights to help newer framebuilders refine their craft and establish sustainable operations.
To support the summit and make it accessible to a broader audience, organizers are hosting a fundraising raffle featuring prizes donated by cycling brands that champion the handmade community. Participants can enter the drawing with a suggested $10 donation, with all proceeds directed toward reducing attendance costs for builders and funding future summits. The prize package allows winners to choose any color, size, or product configuration from participating brands’ current inventory.
The summit’s goal is to strengthen the handmade bicycle community by addressing the practical challenges newer builders face. Rather than merely showcasing finished work, the event prioritizes actionable guidance on both technical framebuilding skills and the business aspects of running a custom bicycle operation. This approach aims to help emerging builders avoid common pitfalls and establish sustainable practices in a specialized craft industry.
The raffle winner will be announced on June 25th, just before the summit begins. The Framebuilder Summit is organized by Caletti Cycles with support from Firsthand Framebuilding and MADE.
