The 28 mm Schwalbe Pro One Aero tires fitted to our test bike measure up at around 29.3 mm on these rims, but in testing, they felt a little short on grip, especially on smooth asphalt and through fast corners. If you are looking for more confidence and a wider safety margin, switching to the standard Schwalbe Pro One in 30 mm, or the equally wide Continental GP5000, can deliver a noticeable gain in both grip and comfort.
