The 2026 Philadelphia Bike Expo, held on March 14-15 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, showcased the latest in cycling innovation and craftsmanship. (phillyvoice.com) This year’s event highlighted several standout builders and products that captivated attendees.
Memento Cycles’ Mini-Cargo Bike
Memento Cycles, based in Montreal, Canada, clinched the People’s Choice Award with their vibrant mini-cargo bike. Drawing inspiration from carnival aesthetics, the bike features dual 20-inch wheels with generous tire clearance and a multicolored paint job reminiscent of children’s toys and carnival rides. The design pays homage to the company’s previous award-winning creations, incorporating elements like the heart-shaped custom step/handlebar combo and stainless hand-carved lugs. This model is available for purchase, with plans for a limited production of mini-velos and mini-velo-mini-cargos in the near future.
So Far So Good’s Touring Bike
Philadelphia’s own So Far So Good, led by Simona Dwass, presented a classically styled touring bike designed for versatility. Featuring hand-carved lugs and a paint job inspired by urban scenes near Dwass’s home, the bike is built around the Ritchey Breakaway system, allowing for easy disassembly. The frame combines Zona and SL tubing, supplied by Metal Guru. This project reflects Dwass’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and her passion for cycling.

Equipped with a custom, lightweight rack and internally wired dynamo lights, this bike has already been ridden thousands of miles. The frame features Reynolds 853 main tubes and a fork with Columbus blades and stays. The wiring is ingeniously routed to ensure the light remains visible even when a rear bag is attached.
