ROTWILD has unveiled the R.XX, a lightweight performance e-mountain bike (eMTB) featuring the innovative Avinox M2S motor system. Weighing approximately 20 kg, the R.XX boasts a 700 Wh battery and delivers up to 1,500 W of peak power, promising an exciting blend of power and agility.

Design and Frame

The R.XX’s design aligns with ROTWILD’s current aesthetic while introducing unique elements. Smaller sizes (S and M) feature a mullet wheel setup with a 27.5” rear wheel, while sizes M/L and larger adopt a full 29” wheel configuration. The R.XX is available in four configurations, each equipped with FOX suspension components, SRAM drivetrain and braking systems, Schwalbe tires, and an Eightpins dropper post. The entry-level R.XX CORE is priced at €8,490 and features the Avinox M2 Drive Unit with 1,100 W peak power and 125 Nm torque in Boost mode. It includes a FOX 36 Rhythm fork with a GRIP cartridge and a mechanical SRAM EAGLE 90 transmission. The R.XX PRO, at €9,990, upgrades to the Avinox M2S Drive Unit, an electronic SRAM GX Transmission derailleur, lightweight Newmen Carbon wheels, and a FOX 36 Performance fork. The R.XX ULTRA, priced at €11,990, offers a FOX 36 Factory fork and a Fox Float shock, both with Kashima coating, along with SRAM X0-series components and Silver-model MOTIVE brakes. The top-tier R.XX ULTIMATE, at €13,490, features SRAM XX-series components, the Ultimate version of the MOTIVE brakes with carbon levers, and an exclusive Lava Orange paint finish.
