Trailblazers: The New Whyte Sythe 135mm Kids’ MTB

by VeloMagster

Whyte has unveiled the Sythe 27, a full-suspension mountain bike tailored for young riders seeking enduro capabilities. This model features 135mm of rear suspension travel paired with a 150mm fork, offering ample support for various terrains. The Sythe 27 is built upon the frame design of Whyte’s adult Sythe enduro bike, scaled down to accommodate shorter riders. It comes equipped with 27.5-inch wheels, with the option to configure a mixed-wheel setup using a 26-inch rear wheel. Priced above £2,000, the bike boasts a RockShox Psylo fork, a Deluxe rear shock, a Shimano CUES derailleur, and SRAM G2 brakes, all mounted on Whyte’s own-brand wheels fitted with Maxxis tyres. This release aligns with Whyte’s recent expansion in the mountain bike segment, following the introduction of the Syphon and Karve models. The Syphon S, priced at £2,199, is a 135mm-travel aluminium trail bike, while the Karve RS, at £5,650, is a carbon eMTB featuring the Avinox M2S motor. (bikeradar.com)

The Sythe 27 is expected to be available in stores by the end of next month, providing young riders with a high-quality, performance-oriented mountain bike option.
