Role Overview
As the Team Lead for Production and Purchasing, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the workshop and coordinating effectively with suppliers and the purchasing department. Your leadership will guide a team of experienced technicians, ensuring that each Santos bike is assembled with the finest components and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Workshop Coordination: Oversee and monitor the workshop schedule, ensuring timely and efficient production.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coach the workshop team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final inspections and maintain high-quality standards throughout the assembly process.
- Supplier Relations: Maintain communication with suppliers, coordinating deliveries and managing inventory levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and product quality.
- Assembly Support: Provide hands-on assistance in the assembly process when necessary.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of an MBO+ level of education.
- Several years of experience in bicycle assembly, production, or workshop coordination.
- Experience with purchasing processes or supplier interactions is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in leading and guiding a team.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen sense of planning.
- A passion for technology and up-to-date knowledge of bicycles.
- A service-oriented and quality-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of adapting to various roles.
- Comfort in a hands-on, collaborative work environment.
