Salsa’s 2026 Gravel Revolution: Meet the New Ride!

by VeloMagster

Salsa Cycles has unveiled its 2026 gravel lineup, introducing the Flyway—a performance-oriented gravel bike that replaces the Warbird model. This new addition complements updates to existing models like the Cutthroat, Fargo, and Journeyer, reflecting Salsa’s commitment to innovation in the gravel cycling segment.

Introducing the Salsa Flyway

The Flyway is designed to blend race-level performance with comfort and versatility, catering to both competitive riders and adventure enthusiasts. It features a progressive gravel geometry with a longer reach, slack head tube angle, and lower bottom bracket for enhanced stability. Short chainstays maintain responsive handling, while a steeper seat tube angle improves power transfer and rider comfort. (cyclingweekly.com)

Offered in two carbon layups—Standard and Deluxe—the Flyway’s frame weighs approximately 1,200g for the Standard and 1,050g for the Deluxe version. It accommodates 40mm travel forks and offers tire clearance up to 50mm in the rear and 57mm in the front. The frame includes a 47.5mm chainline, UDH, and is compatible with both 2x and 1x drivetrains, featuring internal cable routing for a clean aesthetic. (cyclingweekly.com)

Available in six sizes (XS–XL), the Flyway offers multiple mounting points for water bottles, racks, and bikepacking accessories, enhancing its versatility for various riding styles. (cyclingweekly.com)
