Pivot Cycles has appointed Mohawk’s UK Limited as its official distributor in the United Kingdom and Ireland, effective immediately. This strategic partnership aims to enhance Pivot’s presence in the UK and Irish markets by leveraging Mohawk’s established distribution infrastructure.
Operating from Warwick, England, Mohawk’s UK Limited is well-equipped to support Pivot dealers across the region with comprehensive stock, service, and sales assistance. This collaboration will introduce Pivot’s full lineup of bicycles, including the innovative AMP’d eMTB featuring Avinox technology, to UK and Irish retailers.
The relationship between Pivot Cycles and Mohawk’s dates back over 15 years, with the French subsidiary serving as one of Pivot’s longest-standing and most successful global distribution partners. This longstanding partnership laid the foundation for the expansion into the UK market, with Mohawk’s establishing a dedicated UK subsidiary to cater specifically to British cycling enthusiasts.
John Pentecost, International Sales Manager at Pivot Cycles, expressed enthusiasm about the new venture:
“Mohawk’s has been one of our best global distributors for almost two decades, and we couldn’t be more excited to extend that relationship into the UK and Ireland. The British Isles are an important market for us, and we’re confident that Mohawk’s has the team, the infrastructure, and the passion for the sport to do things the right way there.”
Alexandre Cauchy, head of Mohawk’s operations, echoed this sentiment:
“We’ve had a fantastic partnership with Pivot in France, and we’re thrilled to bring that same level of commitment to riders and retailers in the UK and Ireland. The British market is incredibly strong for performance mountain bikes, and we’re ready to get after it.”
UK retailers interested in carrying Pivot Cycles can contact Mohawk’s UK Limited directly at sales@mohawks.eu.
This development follows recent shifts in the UK cycling distribution landscape. Notably, ENVE announced in February 2026 that it would consolidate its UK and EU distribution through Mohawk’s, aiming to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Pivot Cycles’ partnership with Mohawk’s UK Limited signifies a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in the UK and Irish markets, ensuring that riders have access to high-quality bicycles and dedicated support services.
