Discover the World on Two Wheels: Your Invitation to Share Bicycle Travel Stories
Is there a more immersive way to experience the world than pedaling through it, one mile at a time? While other modes of travel offer their own merits, cycling provides a unique blend of adventure, freedom, and connection to the environment.
Studies have shown that once individuals embrace bicycle touring, they often become lifelong enthusiasts. A German study revealed that 78% of those who embarked on a cycling journey expressed a desire to repeat the experience. Yet, many potential cyclists hesitate due to misconceptions about age, fitness levels, or the need for specialized equipment. In reality, bicycle travel is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or budget, and can be undertaken anywhere in the world.
To inspire and support this growing community, Bikeitalia has established the “Diari di Viaggio” (Travel Diaries) section. This platform invites cyclists to share their experiences, offering insights and inspiration to those considering their first journey or seeking new destinations.
Share Your Cycling Journey
We encourage you to contribute your unique story to our Travel Diaries. By sharing your experiences, you not only document your adventures but also inspire others to embark on their own cycling journeys. Your narratives and photographs can serve as a beacon for fellow cyclists, guiding them toward new routes and experiences.
To submit your Travel Diary:
- Content Requirements: A narrative of at least 2,000 characters (including spaces) detailing your journey.
- Photographs: Include 5 to 6 high-quality images, preferably in landscape orientation, to complement your story.
- Submission: Send your text and images to redazione@bikeitalia.it.
Our editorial team will review your submission, format it for publication, and share it on Bikeitalia’s digital platforms. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant community of cyclists, eager to explore new horizons and share their passion for bicycle travel.
