In a significant development for the virtual cycling community, MyWhoosh has unveiled its latest expansion, France World, coinciding with Bastille Day on July 14, 2026. This new addition introduces eight meticulously designed routes that capture the diverse terrains of France, from the flat plains of Camargue to the challenging ascent of Col de Galibier. These routes are now accessible to all MyWhoosh users at no additional cost, aligning with the platform’s commitment to providing free-to-ride experiences.
The launch of France World is complemented by the “Vive la France” mission, a two-stage event running from July 14 to August 2. The first stage, “Paris to the Provinces,” takes riders through the Paris Classic route, while the second stage, “The Summit,” focuses on the Galibier climb. Completing both stages unlocks exclusive rewards, including the Colnago Master Retro Frame and Wheels, as well as a Vive la France Mission Badge, celebrating European cycling heritage.
In parallel, MyWhoosh has announced the qualification process for the 2026 UCI Cycling Esports World Championships, set to conclude on December 12 across venues in North America and Europe. The qualification system balances selections from National Federations with open-access races on the MyWhoosh platform, ensuring global participation. Approximately 100 riders per gender will qualify for the semi-final through their National Federations, with additional spots available through the MyWhoosh Sunday Race Club Elite series. The virtual semi-final on October 2 will bring together around 260 athletes, with the top finishers advancing to the live December final. (uci.org)
This initiative underscores MyWhoosh’s dedication to fostering a competitive and inclusive virtual cycling environment, offering riders worldwide the opportunity to engage in high-level competition and experience diverse cycling landscapes.
