Merida Seeks Allround Junior Marketing Assistant

This role offers a unique opportunity to blend marketing expertise with hands-on experience in the cycling industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Content Creation: Craft and design engaging content, including news articles, press releases, product descriptions, and promotional materials for both online and offline platforms. Collaborate on promotional strategies and ensure timely execution across various channels.

Webshop Management: Oversee and enhance the webshop’s functionality, ensuring an intuitive user experience. Update product information, manage inventory, and implement SEO strategies to boost online visibility.

Showroom Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and dealers, providing assistance and product information. Contribute to the showroom’s presentation, ensuring it aligns with Merida’s brand standards.

Administrative Assistance: Support internal operations by handling administrative tasks, processing orders, and addressing inquiries from both dealers and consumers.
Candidate Profile:

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Skills & Experience: Strong communication abilities, a service-oriented mindset, and proficiency in Dutch. Knowledge of English and/or French is advantageous. Experience in marketing, content creation, or webshop management is preferred. Familiarity with graphic design is a plus.

Additional Assets: Understanding of SEO and email marketing, experience with CMS/webshop systems, and a passion for cycling or outdoor activities.
