SRAM, the renowned bicycle component manufacturer, is undergoing significant restructuring within its global sales organization to bolster growth, adapt to evolving market dynamics, and enhance customer relationships, product innovation, and brand development.

Leadership Transitions

After 33 years with SRAM, including two decades as Vice President of Sales, John Nedeau is retiring at the end of June 2026. His successor, Paul Kantor, currently leads the Road division and will assume responsibility for both Original Equipment (OE) and aftermarket sales globally. Kantor’s technical expertise and strategic vision are expected to drive SRAM’s sales initiatives forward. (sporteco.com)

In Europe, SRAM is preparing for the retirement of Dirk Gerbes, who has been instrumental in expanding SRAM’s OEM operations since joining in 1996. Gerbes will officially retire in July 2026 but will continue to serve as an advisor during the transition.
