Friday Debrief 222: The Latest in Bikepacking Gear and Events
This week’s Friday Debrief brings you the latest innovations and updates in the bikepacking world, including fresh Ingrid Cranks, an Ortlieb Gravel-Pack update, White Industries seatpost collars, a new Zéfal Adventure mini-pump, and more. Let’s dive into the details.
New Product Highlights
Ortlieb Quick-Lock2.2 Now on Gravel-Packs
Ortlieb has enhanced its Gravel-Packs with the Quick-Lock2.2 attachment system, offering shim-free, tool-free hook adjustment, compatibility with rack tube diameters from 8 to 16 mm, and a 12.5-kilogram load capacity per bag. This system is also available as an aftermarket upgrade for compatible gear.
Ingrid CRS-TRIP Crankset
Italian brand Ingrid has unveiled the CRS-TRIP crankset, featuring a subtle texture and a 3D-printed nylon insert on the sides. Available in a single 170mm length and an array of 10 colors, the €286 ($330) CRS-TRIP weighs 585 grams with a 30mm spindle. Ingrid also offers a wide range of matching chainrings.
Zéfal Adventure Mini-Pump
The new Zéfal Adventure Mini-Pump is portable enough for rides or trips but more powerful and ergonomic, thanks to a floor pump-inspired design. It features an ergonomic handle, long flexible hose, and universal lever connector. Made in France, the pump weighs 195 grams, is 30 centimeters long, and has a durable aluminum body.
White Industries Seatpost Collar
Handmade in Petaluma, California, White Industries’ new Seatpost Collars are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and include a stainless steel bolt and bronze insert pin nut. Available in four diameters (36.4, 35, 32, and 30mm) and multiple colors, these collars are designed for durability and functionality.
Crankbrothers Klic Pumps with Tire Plug Anchor Kit
Crankbrothers’ latest release combines its Klic HV Hand Pump with a built-in tubeless plugger, providing a one-stop shop for all things tire-related on the trail. The pump includes internal storage for a plugger fork, a Plug Mate kit (containing plugs and anchors), and a valve core tool. It’s available with or without a gauge.
Cyclite Fork Bag 01
Cyclite’s new quick-release fork bag features a slim, tapered profile that offers a unique aerodynamic advantage over traditional, bulkier bags. The Fork Bag 01 has a zippered opening, a mesh side pocket, a quick-release mounting system, and weatherproof construction, measuring just 8 centimeters in width.
Last Chance for Hite-Rite
Nearly 10 years ago, Joe Breeze opened up his personal stash of genuine HITE-RITE seatpost droppers, which were available to purchase on eBay. Yesterday, they re-stocked the eBay store with the last batch of HITE-RITES, and once they’re gone, they won’t be coming back. If you’ve been wanting to grab yourself a piece of mountain bike history and own the original dropper post, now is your chance.

Skull Tee V7
Logan here. It’s hard to believe we just made the seventh version of the Skull Tee. I originally sketched the first bike/skull doodle back in 2012 while daydreaming and planning for our ride through Latin America, from Mexico to Panama. Seven iterations later, here we are. When we shared our latest merch drop on Tuesday, a few people mentioned items they’d love to see return—bandanas being a popular request. Merchandise has always been a small operation for us; Virginia and I still handle everything ourselves out of our backyard shed. That said, we’re already thinking ahead to another batch later this summer. What would you like to see more of in the web shop? Let us know in the Conversation below.
