Mathieu Ghibaudo demonstrated outstanding form, leading the race with a comfortable margin over Austrian Michaël Hettegger and German Elias Hückmann. French riders Noa Filippi and Arsène Henniene narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth and fifth respectively. In the Elite Men’s race, Britain’s Charlie Aldridge achieved a double victory, securing both the Short Track and XCO titles. He triumphed over Italy’s Juri Zanotti and Switzerland’s Fabio Püntener. French rider Joshua Dubau finished 18th, while Belgium’s Pierre De Froidmont placed 25th.
Elite Women’s Category
Swiss rider Sina Frei also completed a double victory, having previously won the Short Track. The Elite Women’s XCO podium mirrored that of the Short Track, with Frei leading, followed by compatriot Alessandra Keller and Sweden’s Jenny Rissveds. Belgium’s Emeline Detilleux finished 14th.
