On Saturday, September 5, 2026, San Candido (Innichen) will host the 10th edition of Eroica Dolomiti, a premier vintage cycling event that attracts enthusiasts from around the globe. This year, 350 cyclists from 21 countries, including Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the UK, the USA, Australia, South Africa, and the UAE, are set to participate. (grinta.be)
Event Overview
Eroica Dolomiti seamlessly blends a passion for vintage racing bicycles with the stunning backdrop of the Dolomites. Participants can choose from three meticulously designed routes:
- Short Route: 73 km with 1,200 meters of elevation gain
- Medium Route: 91 km with 1,870 meters of elevation gain
- Long Route: 118 km with 2,740 meters of elevation gain

Pre-Event Activities
The festivities commence on September 4 with the Vintage Bike Market in the heart of San Candido. In the afternoon, the Eroica Dolomiti Aperitivo will bring everyone together, with founder Giancarlo Brocci welcoming participants at 6:00 PM. (grinta.be)
The evening’s program includes CicloCinema, where cyclists embark on a short ride to a special outdoor location powered entirely by pedal-generated electricity, showcasing the community’s commitment to sustainability.
Registration and Participation
Registration for the event is still open. Participants may encounter Onze Man, who will be present in connection with the upcoming magazine ‘Cycling Hotspots – Dolomites’.
