DAHON, a global leader in folding bicycle innovation, is set to redefine urban mobility in the UK with its latest 2026 lineup. Building on over four decades of engineering excellence, DAHON introduces two flagship models: the heavy-duty Mariner HD and the performance-focused tri-fold LUNDEN 20”.
Mariner HD: Strength Meets Innovation
The Mariner HD is engineered to support riders up to 150 kg (330 lbs), addressing the need for robust folding bikes in urban environments. Central to its design is DAHON-V Tech, a proprietary engineering methodology that enhances frame stiffness and optimises power transfer. This innovation earned the Mariner HD the d&i Award at the 2026 Taipei Cycle Show, underscoring its industry-leading design. (de.dahon.com)
LUNDEN 20”: Compact Performance Redefined
The LUNDEN 20” tri-fold bike integrates DAHON-V Tech to deliver a new standard of efficiency and stability. Its design features a direct linkage between the head tube and bottom bracket, reinforced seatstays, and a Dynamic Suspension System for adaptable damping. These elements ensure a responsive ride suitable for urban commuting and light off-road adventures. (cyclingindustry.news)
DAHON-V Tech: Engineering Excellence
DAHON-V Tech incorporates the patented DELTECH cable, increasing frame rigidity by 15%, and a Super Down Tube design, enhancing both lateral and longitudinal stiffness by an additional 10%. These advancements result in a more responsive ride, improved climbing capability, and enhanced overall efficiency—qualities not typically associated with folding bikes. (de.dahon.com)
