A notable feature of the 2026 edition is the return of a format that became a small cult in 2014: “Bici senza Frontiere” (Bikes Without Borders). At the end of the bike parade, Parco della Montagnola will transform into a sports arena with a strongly ironic flavour, where participants will face skill tests that exorcise the daily inconveniences of urban cyclists. Among the competitions will be the “Lentocipede” race, where the goal is to cover 100 metres as slowly as possible without ever touching the ground, and the challenging task of simulating a shopping trip by bicycle, weaving through fake endless construction sites and cars parked in double rows. To participate in these games of endurance and urban satire, it is necessary to register your team, composed of a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 8 people (all adults), by filling out the official registration form. 14:10 – Gathering at Parco della Montagnola: The opening of the event includes entertainment and games for children, readings by the Casa della Conoscenza, and craft beers to start populating the park.

15:30 – The Parade: The heart of Bike Pride. A procession of bicycles (and any other pedal-powered vehicles, from the most classic to the most bizarre) will cover an 8 km loop along the boulevards of Bologna. The route is completely flat and suitable for all ages.

16:45 – “Bici senza Frontiere” Games: Back in Montagnola, team challenges will begin to test the balance and self-irony of Bologna’s cyclists.

19:00 – Awards and After Party: The celebrations will move to the Velostazione ex.Dynamo for the award ceremony of the “Bici senza Frontiere” winners and to close the evening with the DJ set of RoBeMiSte.
