Co-founders Jerry and Beverly Arron, aged 70 and 60 respectively, have decided to retire from the retail side of the business to focus on their personal cycling pursuits.<\/p>\n

Since its inception in 1994, Mud Dock Cycleworks has sold over 15,000 bicycles, becoming a cornerstone of Bristol’s cycling culture. The shop is set to close its doors at the end of August, offering customers the opportunity to purchase remaining stock at significant discounts. Notably, the Mud Dock Caf\u00e9, located above the bike shop, will continue to operate unaffected by the closure.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on their journey, Jerry Arron expressed pride in their achievements, stating, “We\u2019re fortunate to have worked with some of the best people and brands in the industry. Back in the \u201990s, this was just a dream of two 20-something bike-loving design escapees from London!” Beverly Arron echoed these sentiments, highlighting the rewarding relationships built over the years, “It\u2019s been an incredible, enjoyable and massively fulfilling journey. As well as numerous new faces, we\u2019ve seen countless repeat customers over the years \u2013 people who\u2019ve come back for second, third and fourth bikes for themselves \u2013 or to buy bikes for spouses and then their children.”<\/p>\n

For those interested in the remaining inventory, the shop is offering extraordinary deals on a range of bicycles, from high-end carbon road bikes to practical everyday e-bikes and balance bikes for children. The closure is scheduled for the end of August, so enthusiasts are encouraged to visit soon to take advantage of these offers.<\/p>\n
