The 2026 European Mountain Bike Championships (Championnat d’Europe VTT 2026) took place from July 29 to August 2, 2026, at Monte Tamaro in Switzerland. Elite Women’s XCC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swiss rider Sina Frei clinched the European Short Track title, adding to her impressive World Cup victories this season. She secured the gold ahead of World Champion Alessandra Keller. Jenny Rissveds of Sweden completed the podium, finishing ahead of Evie Richards and Sofie Pedersen. Belgium’s Emeline Detilleux finished 14th.<\/p>\n

Elite Men’s XCC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Britain’s Charlie Aldridge claimed his first European title in the Elite Men’s Short Track. Italy’s Juri Zanotti and Switzerland’s Dario Lillo rounded out the podium. Belgium’s Pierre De Froidmont delivered a strong performance, finishing sixth, just ahead of France’s Joshua Dubau.<\/p>\n

Under-23 Women’s XCC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Swiss rider L\u00e9a Huber secured the Under-23 Women’s Short Track title, leading a Swiss one-two with compatriot Elina Benoit. Norway’s Lisa Kristine Jorde completed the podium.<\/p>\n

Under-23 Men’s XCC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Germany’s Paul Schel emerged victorious in the Under-23 Men’s Short Track, finishing ahead of Switzerland’s Nicolas Halter and Sweden’s Leo Lounela. Spain’s Thibaut Fran\u00e7ois Baudry placed fourth, while Belgium’s Ryan Laenen finished tenth and Norway’s Sverre Van Lee twelfth. Notably, there were no French competitors in the Under-23 category.<\/p>\n

Junior Women’s XCC<\/strong><\/p>\n

Czech rider Barbora Bukovska claimed the Junior Women’s Short Track title, with Shana Huber and Nikoletta Bettina Kiss completing the podium.<\/p>\n

French rider Noa Filippi secured the Junior Men’s Short Track title, finishing ahead of Switzerland’s Marwan Barhoumi and Germany’s Elias H\u00fcckemann. Belgium’s Alo\u00efs Lorge placed 23rd.<\/p>\n
