Dropbear Incisor Flat Pedals: A Fresh Contender in the Flat Pedal Market

Australian engineering meets mountain biking innovation with the Dropbear Incisor flat pedals. Designed and manufactured in Brookvale, NSW, these pedals are crafted by riders who understand the importance of foot placement and control.

First Impressions

Out of the box, the Incisor pedals make a bold statement. Their substantial platform is engineered for maximum grip, stability, and strength. Dropbear’s unique design aims to control flex and reduce rider fatigue. While the design is striking, it also offers undeniable comfort on the trail.

On the Trail

The large platform provides excellent support, especially beneficial for riders with bigger feet. The pedals feature 30 hand-pressed, thread-free stainless steel push pins, including angled outer pins that deliver impressive lateral support, helping your foot feel locked in and secure. This design enhances grip and stability, allowing riders to focus on line choice and speed without worrying about foot placement.

Serviceability

A standout feature of the Incisor pedals is their user-friendly serviceability. Unlike many pedals that require specialized tools, the Incisors can be maintained with a simple 2.5mm Allen key. This thoughtful design detail caters to riders who prefer to maintain their own gear or fine-tune pedal performance.

Our Take

The Dropbear Incisor pedals instill confidence with their secure grip and stable platform. They are an excellent choice for gravity racers using flats for training or riders who enjoy the freedom that comes with flat pedal riding. Tough, grippy, easy to maintain, and clearly designed by riders who understand what mountain bikers need from their pedals, the Incisors are a commendable addition to the flat pedal market.
