The Raid des Hautes Fagnes, a premier mountain biking event in Belgium, took place on June 21, 2026, as part of the Belgian Ardennes Marathon Series (BAMS). This year’s edition featured three challenging distances: 65 km, 90 km, and 115 km, each offering a unique test of endurance and skill. (marathonmtb.be)

The event attracted a diverse group of participants, including both licensed and non-licensed riders. Notably, the Top Box, reserved for elite competitors, included winners from the 2025 BAMS Challenge, previous RDHF editions, UCI-licensed riders with points, national champions, and podium finishers from BAMS events in 2025 and 2026. Pre-registration was required by June 16, 2026, at 11:59 PM, with an additional email request to arnaud@rdhf.be before June 17. Participants in this category were also required to present their licenses during bib collection. (rdhf.be)

The Raid des Hautes Fagnes is renowned for its demanding courses that traverse the stunning landscapes of the Hautes-Fagnes region. The 115 km marathon race, for instance, challenges riders with approximately 3,000 meters of elevation gain, testing both physical and technical abilities. (rdhf.be)
