A Comprehensive Cycling Experience

The Bike Festa is designed for all cycling enthusiasts: e-mountain bikers, gravel fans, everyday riders, families, tech aficionados, and connoisseurs. The concept is based on four experiential worlds: brand festa, ride festa, people festa, and gusto festa. This means experiencing brands, testing bikes, meeting people, and not forgetting that South Tyrol also excels in culinary delights. (dolomiti.it)

Innovation Gallery in the Cathedral Square

A central highlight is the Innovation Gallery in Brixen’s Cathedral Square. In a large dome tent, over 170 square meters will showcase new mobility, textile, and recycling technologies. Under the themes of Smart Cities, Social & Eco Change, and Performance, manufacturers, designers, startups, and NGOs will present how the future of cycling could look. Exhibits include compact folding e-bikes, new e-moped concepts, sustainable textile innovations, tire recycling systems, and material solutions made from magnesium. Participants include World Bicycle Relief, 2Lock with future theft protection, ORTOVOX, Schwalbe, Panasonic, and designer Christian Zanzotti. (dolomiti.it)

Innovative – Interactive – Inclusive

Perhaps the most exciting message of Bike Festa 2026 is that the future of cycling is no longer solely determined by motor performance, battery capacity, or new materials. It emerges where technology meets attitude, sustainability, and social relevance. This thought is also central in our current Brixen Papers #09: True innovation is more than the next technical advancement. It arises when new ideas create real value for people. With its mix of future technologies, inclusion, sustainability, and lived cycling culture, Bike Festa provides an exciting impetus and shows that innovation is sometimes less about a new product and more about a new perspective on the role of the bicycle in our society.
