Favero’s Assioma PRO power meter pedals have revolutionized cycling by offering a versatile, modular system that caters to various pedal preferences. With interchangeable pedal bodies compatible with Look Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, and Shimano SPD systems, these pedals provide cyclists with the flexibility to switch between road and off-road setups seamlessly.

Modular Design for Versatility

The Assioma PRO range is built around a smart spindle that houses all essential components, including strain gauges, electronic elements, and rechargeable batteries. This design allows riders to swap pedal bodies without changing the entire power meter, accommodating different cycling disciplines and personal preferences. For instance, the Assioma PRO RL features a Look Keo-compatible pedal body, while the PRO RS is designed for Shimano SPD-SL systems, and the PRO MX caters to Shimano SPD setups. (dcrainmaker.com)

Advanced Power Measurement Technology

At the core of the Assioma PRO pedals is Favero’s proprietary Instant Angular Velocity (IAV) Power System. By integrating a three-axis gyroscope within the spindle, these pedals measure both force and angular velocity, ensuring accurate power readings regardless of riding conditions or style. This technology delivers ±1% accuracy, providing cyclists with reliable data for performance analysis and training optimization. (dcrainmaker.com)

Exceptional Battery Life and Charging Efficiency

The Assioma PRO pedals are equipped with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that offer an impressive 160 hours of riding time on a full charge—the longest in the market. For riders in a hurry, a quick 15-minute charge provides up to 15 hours of use. Charging is straightforward, with dual-headed magnetic USB-C cables allowing both pedals to be charged simultaneously without removing them from the bike. (dcrainmaker.com)

Durability and Performance

Designed to withstand various weather conditions, the Assioma PRO pedals feature a sealed spindle that protects internal components from mud, dust, and moisture. This robust construction minimizes the risk of power dropouts and extends the lifespan of the power meter. Additionally, the pedals’ lightweight design, with each pedal weighing approximately 130 grams, ensures minimal impact on cycling performance. (dcrainmaker.com)

Comprehensive Cycling Metrics

Beyond basic power measurements, the Assioma PRO pedals provide a suite of advanced metrics, including left/right power balance, torque effectiveness, and pedal smoothness. These insights enable cyclists to fine-tune their riding technique and address imbalances, contributing to improved efficiency and performance. (dcrainmaker.com)

Conclusion

Favero’s Assioma PRO power meter pedals offer a versatile and reliable solution for cyclists seeking accurate performance data across different riding disciplines. Their modular design, advanced measurement technology, exceptional battery life, and durability make them a valuable tool for both amateur and professional cyclists aiming to enhance their training and performance.

For a detailed review and hands-on insights, you can watch the following video:

Favero Assioma PRO RL Review: The Best Look KEO Power Meter Yet
