Fizik’s Versor 2 gravity shoe is engineered for the modern trail rider, seamlessly transitioning between technical trails, bike park laps, shuttle days, and backcountry adventures. Available in both clip-in and flat pedal versions, the Versor 2 offers precise pedal control and durable performance in a minimalist, race-ready design.

Design and Construction

The Versor 2 draws inspiration from technical outdoor footwear, integrating lightweight construction and a precise fit akin to trail-running and hiking shoes. This fusion, combined with Fizik’s expertise in performance road and off-road footwear, results in a shoe that emphasizes pedal connection, bike control, and responsiveness. The design features a bootie-style upper that wraps closely around the foot, complemented by an ergonomic lace-up closure, ensuring a secure, pressure-free fit for extended trail sessions.

Outsole and Performance

The clip-in version of the Versor 2 is equipped with a redesigned Gravita outsole, featuring a Vibram XS Trek EVO compound. The tread pattern includes lower-profile lugs in the midfoot for optimal pedal contact and deeper lugs at the toe and heel for enhanced grip during steep hike-a-bike sections. A revised nylon shank increases pedaling support and power transfer while maintaining sufficient flexibility for walking comfort. The extended cleat track provides greater adjustability, accommodating steep terrain and aggressive descending positions.

The flat-pedal version, Versor 2 Flat, utilizes a dedicated Vibram XS Ride compound in its outsole. The tread pattern offers traction while retaining pedal feel, with lower-profile center lugs improving pedal contact and deeper toe and heel sections maintaining confident footing off the bike. With a lower stiffness rating than the clipless version, the Versor 2 Flat prioritizes pedal conformity and traction, delivering a planted, controlled feeling during technical riding.

Sizing and Pricing

The Versor 2 is available in sizes 36-48 EU (with half sizes from 37 to 47) and is priced at $149.99. It comes in two color options: Anthracite-Black and Off White-Anthracite.

In summary, the Versor 2 gravity shoe combines lightweight design, precise fit, and durable construction, making it an excellent choice for riders seeking performance and comfort across various trail conditions.
