Their latest offering, the Wake 6560 Evolution II, exemplifies this innovation. This wheelset features a 65mm deep profile, optimized for aerodynamics within the UCI’s 65mm rim depth regulation. Through meticulous design, the Wake 6560 Evolution II achieves a system weight of 1,250 grams, making it lighter than many climbing wheels. The rim’s internal width of 22mm and external width of 33mm are tailored for 28mm tires, enhancing stability and performance. Additionally, the new carbon layup increases impact resistance, passing tests exceeding 120 joules.
