The portfolio includes lockable bicycle garages that offer protection against theft and weather conditions. Depending on the application, the modules can be equipped with charging points for e-bikes and electric cars. With TER BOX, he focuses on solutions at the intersection of bicycle use, electric mobility, and urban space. “The concept aims to utilize existing space more efficiently and facilitate safe bicycle storage options,” says Terhardt. The idea for TER BOX emerged after multiple bicycles were stolen from Terhardt’s residence, and no suitable storage space was available. This experience led to the development of a system that enables secure bicycle storage in urban environments. “TER BOX is not intended as an alternative to car use but as a complement to existing mobility,” Terhardt continues. “The focus is on electrification and on utilizing available space in urban areas differently.
