Design and Construction

The Ethos SL wheelset features a 29-inch rim with a 30mm internal width and a 20.5mm depth, providing an optimal balance between strength and weight. The rims are constructed using an advanced carbon layup that incorporates T800 and T1000 carbon fibers, known for their high tensile strength-to-weight ratio. This innovative design results in a rim weight of just 270 grams, making it one of the lightest in its category. (shop.noblwheels.com)

Hub and Spoke System

Central to the wheelset’s performance are the NOBL Ti70 hubs, developed in collaboration with BERD and Erase Components. These hubs feature a titanium freehub and a 70-tooth ratchet system, offering a rapid 5.14-degree engagement for immediate power transfer. The hubs are available in both 6-bolt and Centerlock configurations, with freehub options including HG, MicroSpline, and XD. (shop.noblwheels.com)

The wheelset utilizes 28 BERD Polylight Dyneema spokes, renowned for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. These spokes are looped around the hub and secured to the rim using Sapim Alloy Secure Lock nipples, ensuring a secure and reliable build. (shop.noblwheels.com)
