Oxford Bikes, the renowned Belgian bicycle manufacturer, has unveiled significant enhancements to its dealer support and product offerings for the 2027 season. These initiatives aim to provide dealers with greater certainty and comprehensive support in an increasingly dynamic market.<\/p>\n

Dealer Show Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n

The recent two-day dealer show in Sint-Niklaas showcased Oxford Bikes’ commitment to its partners. Dealers had the opportunity to explore the latest collections from Oxford, Zanatta, and Bike Fun Kids. The event also featured a dedicated space for partners to present a wide array of components, underscoring Oxford’s role as a one-stop shop for dealers. Additionally, the company introduced its revamped website and a new dealer portal, designed to streamline operations and enhance dealer support.<\/p>\n

Addressing Market Challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mario Rottier, CEO of Oxford Bikes, acknowledged the challenges facing the cycling industry. “It’s been a tumultuous year for the sector. In these challenging times, many dealers are seeking certainty, and we provide that by increasingly relieving them of burdens,” he stated. The surge in dealer registrations, doubling compared to the previous year, reflects the growing interest in Oxford Bikes as a reliable and loyal partner.<\/p>\n

Product Lineup for 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the upcoming year, Oxford Bikes has streamlined its product lineup to offer a more focused and manageable selection. The range now includes 25 models and 36 variants, featuring four drive systems: Bosch, Shimano, Bafang, and a new line with Ananda motors. Visually, the bikes have been given a ‘cleaner’ look, with cables integrated through the head tube on most models. Product developer Ewout Baeckeland commented, “By combining models like the 18.1 and 19.1 into the 19.1 Enviolo and 19.1 Automatic, we offer clearer choices and greater convenience for consumers.”<\/p>\n

Supporting Dealers<\/strong><\/p>\n

To further assist dealers, Oxford Bikes has overhauled its website, placing a stronger emphasis on showcasing bicycles. The site now features options for test ride requests, a dealer locator, and a model finder with a decision tree. Next month, the dealer portal will go live, providing access to sales materials such as photos and product sheets. This portal will also facilitate the submission of damage claims, ensuring prompt processing. In November, VDB Parts will launch its updated webshop, offering improved search functionality and enhanced filtering options. Nicolas Vandeleur, co-CEO, emphasized, “With these initiatives, we are serving our dealers even more effectively. We will continue to focus on this in the coming year.”<\/p>\n
