Schwalbe, the renowned German tyre manufacturer, has announced the upcoming release of its first 32-inch gravel tyres, the G-One RS Pro and G-One RX Pro, scheduled for April 2027. The decision to develop these tyres stems from the increasing popularity of 32-inch wheels in gravel cycling. Schwalbe’s head of product management, Felix Sch\u00e4fermeier, initially expressed skepticism about the viability of this wheel size. However, extensive testing and positive feedback have led to a change in perspective. Sch\u00e4fermeier stated, “At first, we were sceptical about whether 32 inches would be a meaningful addition.
